The Abbadia San Giorgo Residence is situated in the center of Moneglia, an ancient town nestling in the small bay between the Punta Moneglia and Punta Rospo promontories of the Riviera del Tigullio. The exclusive hotel had been created in the ex convent and cloisters built by Franciscan monks in 1484.

The room which once served as the refectory of the convent is now used for the tasting of traditional products of Moneglia, Portofino, Tigullio and the Cinque Terre as well as a selection of wines, grappa, and fruit based liquors typical of the Liguria region.
