Known also as the "City of the Thousand White Sailing Ships" because of its maritime tradition, Camogli is caressed by the sea of the Golfo del Paradiso. With its superb mild climate it is perfect for summer vacations.

Numerous events at Camogli: St Valentine's Day, Festival of the Patron Saint St Fortunato, the Golfo del Paradiso Jazz Festival, Concerts in the Abbey of St Fruttuoso, the Dog Show of San Rocco di Camogli, Re Camoglino, the Festa delle Restie. The walk from Ruta to San Rocco, and the boat trip to San Fruttuoso are marvellous.
