Sanremo, Liguria

Known for international events such as the Italian Song Festival, the Milan-Sanremo cycling race, the Sanremoinfiore flower show and the Songwriters Review. Sanremo has been given the name "World Capital of Floriculture" thanks to its mild climate.

The two tourist dock areas are Porto Vecchio and Porto Sole. The oldest part of the town is called "La Pigna".

Therte is much superb Liberty style architecture : Villa Noseda, Villa Anger, Hotel Bellevue which houses the Sanremo casinò, Villa Nobel and the Russian Orthodox Church.
