A few kilometers away from Vallecrosia, Vallebona and Bordighera, from the heights of the west facing hillside of Liguria, lies the ancient Principality of Seborga.
It has a fascinating history: the town's inhabitants, forgotten by the Vienna Congress, still assert their independence. Seborga has its own Prince, Giorgio I, ministers and ambassadors, and even its own currency, "the Luigino".
Of great tourist appeal, Seborga is concentrated between Palazzo Monaci and the Church of St Martino, and offers guests both natural beauty and relaxation.
